Tommy-Gillard-Picture

Tommy Gillard is an award-winning writer and director from deepest, darkest Devon. His short film Shuttlecock played at the 2020 BFI London Film Festival, where it won the Best Short Film Award. His short film Rhapsody in Blood was shot on a single roll of super-8 film and was described by two-time Oscar-winning cinematographer Roger Deakins as a ‘technical marvel’. He was previously the creative lead for an international brand, producing advertising content across seven different countries.

Tommy is developing an episodic mystery series and multiple feature films. His latest short film is SLOW BURN, produced by Agile Films and Spinning Path in association with Intermission Film and supported by BFI Network.

Tommy is represented by Independent Talent.

He hates writing about himself in the third person.
